Housed in the former residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro, this hotel exhibits an architecture with marked French influences. Especially spectacular are the old library, today transformed into a restaurant and the old ballrooms, which are used today as large meeting rooms. Hotel information

It is located in the heart of the Madrilenian district of Chamberi, very near the Paseo de la Castellana and also, well known for the exquisite mansions built by the Spanish nobility at the end of the 19th Century. Following the death of the Duke, his heirs rented out the mansion to various countries, the most recent occupant being the Embassy of Philippines. Nowadays, the mansion’s library remains intact and has been converted into the renowned Santo Mauro restaurant. The ballrooms with large windows that lead to the garden are also original. The hotel has a splendid 700m2 garden where one can find some of the oldest chestnut trees in Madrid. During summer it becomes an extension of our restaurant and it becomes a very popular dinner venue for both pleasure and business purposes.

Food & Beverage

The Santo Mauro restaurant is located in the palace’s old library and it offers a menu that perfectly combines an international cuisine with traditional, simplistic cooking. In addition, it offers a wide selection of regional wines. The restaurant serves the breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00. The lunches are served at 13:30 to 15:30 and the dinners from 20:30 to 23:30.

Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 30.00 per person.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
